Author Samuel W. Pullman’s latest novel goes beyond romance to tell a story of healing across generations and the families we build along the way.
[South Florida] Author Samuel W. Pullman announces the release of his latest novel, Love After Heartbreak, a story that, at its heart, is about much more than a romance between two people. It is a family story: the families we are born into, the families we lose touch with, and the families we choose to build for ourselves.
When James and Sarah’s relationship deepens, it sets off a chain of reconnection that neither of them anticipated. Sarah’s relationship with her mother, Tammy, shifts as old wounds begin to heal. A long broken bond with her grandparents is repaired before it is too late. James’s children and grandchildren are welcomed into a new extended family, one built not out of obligation, but out of genuine care.
Love After Heartbreak shows that healing rarely happens in isolation. As James and Sarah work through their own pain, the people around them begin to heal too, parents and children reconcile, generations come together, and a found family takes shape around two people who once felt like they had no one.
“Romance is really just the starting point,” said Pullman. “What I wanted to explore was how healing ripples outward. When two people choose to really show up for each other, it changes everything around them, too, including the families they thought were broken beyond repair.”
Love After Heartbreak is a story for readers who believe that family isn’t only defined by blood, and that it is never too late for reconciliation, connection, and a fresh start.
Love After Heartbreak is available now in print and digital formats.
