Love Beyond Grief

Author Samuel W. Pullman delivers a tender story of loss, loneliness, and the unexpected second chances that can follow even the darkest seasons of life.

[South Florida]  Author Samuel W. Pullman announces the release of his latest novel, Love After Heartbreak, a heartfelt story that follows James, a recently widowed retiree, as he navigates the quiet devastation of losing his wife of forty years and the daunting question of what comes next.

After relocating to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, following his wife Wendy’s death from cancer, James finds himself adrift, surrounded by a new home, a new community, and an overwhelming sense of isolation. His days are marked by solitary walks on the beach and quiet evenings alone, until an unexpected connection through social media opens the door to something he never expected: the possibility of love again.

Love After Heartbreak doesn’t shy away from the realities of grief: the loneliness, the guilt, the uncertainty of moving forward after losing a life partner. But it also offers something many readers will find deeply hopeful: the idea that healing doesn’t mean forgetting, and that connection can find us again, even later in life, even when we’ve stopped looking for it.

“So many people who lose a spouse later in life feel like their story is over,” said Pullman. “I wanted to write something that says otherwise, that shows grief and new love can coexist, and that it’s never too late to open your heart again.”

The novel speaks to readers who have experienced loss themselves, as well as anyone curious about what it means to rebuild a life and a heart from the ground up.

Love After Heartbreak is available now [in print and digital formats / wherever books are sold — insert details].
